Porthleven Beach

Porthleven beach is a sandy beach and about half a mile from the Penrose and Treza Camp Site.
This beach is safe for swimming and is very convenient to the Site and the amenities in the village

There is a dog ban at this beach from Easter day to 1st October, 7am-7pm.
However, the beach area from the Blue Buoy steps towards the Loe Bar is dog friendly all year around.

 

 
Loe Bar
This shows the stretch of sand across Loe Bar with Porthleven in the distance.
Penrose Camp Site is about 15 minutes walk away from this beach.

Prah Sands
Praa Sands Beach is 5 miles away from the Site.
It is a well known family beach with lifeguards - ideal for those wishing to surf and families with children.
